Library PoliciesStudents are allowed to check out three books at a time for four weeks at a time. Books need to be returned or renewed on or before the due date. If the book is overdue, a fine of $.10 will be assessed, with a maximum of a $5 fine per book.
We have 29 computers available for student use, all of which are attached to both a black and white and color printer. Black and white copies are $.10 per side and color copies are $.25 per side. |
Meet the Media Specialists
Kimberly Rein

Ms. Rein is beginning her thirteenth year of teaching in Rutherford County, and her third year at Riverdale High School. Before RHS, she taught ELA in IL for one year, and eight years at Rockvale Middle School. She served as Media Specialist at Central Magnet School and Christiana Middle School before coming to Riverdale.
Ms. Rein earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Illinois State University, her two Master's degrees of Literacy, and Library Information Science at Middle Tennessee University, and her Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership at MTSU. She just finished her American Library Association accredited Master's degree in Library Informational Studies from Texas Women's University, her second library science degree.
Her favorite hobbies include reading, attending author events, and playing with her Boxer, Kaylie.

Josh Taylor

Mr. Taylor is beginning his sixth year in education, but first year in the state of Tennessee. He recently relocated from Connecticut, where he was born, grew up, attended school, and was a Media Specialist for five years. He is excited to begin his new chapter at RHS!
Mr. Taylor earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and social sciences from Central CT State University. He then earned a Master's of Information and Library Science from Southern CT State University, with a concentration in educational media.
His hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, genealogical research, and spending time with his family and two dogs.
